Faith, Good question. Naivasha is one of the best and interesting place to visit. The Most memorable would be a bike ride inside Hellgate National park. Rent a bike at Naivasha and start with your guide. If you are physically fit I would suggest an expendition at Mt. Longonot and late relax with a boat ride and visit the cresent Island. If your interest is animals then I suggest you take a 45 minutes drive to Lake Nakuru National park.

The possibilities are seemingly endless in Naivasha.

It depends on what kind of places you're interested in visiting. If its wildlife you want, go to the Oserian wildlife conservancy or Kongoni Wildlife conservancy on the Western side of the lake, or to Hell's Gate National Park. If it's relaxed lakeside camping you want, you can go to Burch's campsite, Fisherman's Campsite, Fish Eagle inn, or a host of other similar places. If it's more comfortable, room accommodation you want, head to Lake Naivasha Country Club or to Elsamere, the historic home of Joy Adamson.
If you want higher end lodges and hotels, there are plenty of those to choose from. Crater Lake Tented Camp, on it's own private lake, has been rated one of the best in Kenya in the local newspapers.
Mt. Longonot makes a great day trip for hiking up to and around the crater.
If you want to venture slightly farther afield, to the North side of the lake, you can stay at Greenpark golf and country club.

the best place to visit and to sleep at Naivasha are plenty,but let me sample for you the main one as follows:
PLACES TO VISIT:MT. LONGONOT AND LAKE NAIVASHA.
Leave Nairobi City - The concrete jungle - and drive western wards stopping at the view point on the Great Rift Valley and view the Loita Plains and also from here you can see Lake Naivasha Sparkling in the sun thousand of feet below. Then proceed to lake Naivasha (and this is the highest lake in rift valley). Also Lake Naivasha is famous in the 1930,s as a staging post for Imperial Airways, Flying Boat Services from Durban to London. You can have a boat ride to the Crescent Island (an option activity)
N/B: Crescent Island is one of the few places in all Africa where you can wander on foot among herds of Zebra, wildebeests, Gazelle and Giraffe and no predators.

Best place to stay is definitely the Crater Lake Lodge. There is so many places to visit in Naivasha. Hell's Gate National Park (where you can mountainbike or hike), Crescent Island (where Out of Africa was shot), flower farms (Holland in Africa), and generally Naivasha is a place that is quiet and nice, not too far from Nairobi, hence ideal for a weekend getaway or short break. A good place to visit is hells gate national park,fischers tower,raptor hide but naivasha has other good viewing sites apart from this.when it comes to a place to sleep,there are many good hotels and lodges but i can recommend the la belle inn or marina lodge naivasha.
