It depends... how much guests will you be hosting?

If you are... let's say 10 and likes meat... you could go to La Hacienda, it is a nice restaurant, in the city with good meat. If you want something more sophisticated you could use some near Hotel services and ask for catering if your are a lot of people.

Well...It depends on how much you want to spend. I might recommend you Restaurante el Arriero, It's a very comfortable restaurant with a nice food, they have musical services, etc. The menu costs from $7.75 to up (About $15.50) This could be for a formal reunion.
Take into account how many people is going to be invited.
This restaurant is located over 1 Calle Poniente, 69 Av. Norte No.3064. +503.2223.1316

La Hacienda is a fine restaurant for meats and fish dishes, you can too reserve a private room for 15 to 20 persons in Paradise, a fine meat, pasta and many other seafood options, located in la Zona Rosa. As a thid option, la Pampa Argentina, with 3 locations in San Salvador; Santa Elena, Escalon and Zona Rosa will make another fine meeting and eating place!

Being that this is for a special occasion (wedding), you want to make sure you go somewhere that would fit the mood but also fit the pocket for everyone. Now I think the best places to go would be (if you're going to be in San Salvador) el pueblo viejo o rancho nevara. if you're not sure where to find this place then feel free to contact me for directions. These places have a variety of foods to choose from and I'm sure your friends and family would love the atmosphere and touch of salvadorian culture.

Both Senor Tenedor and Hotel Real Intercontinental have good catering services, of course, they are a bit on the expensive side. If you would like a little more typical Salvadorean food, you could try Las Cofradias, which is in Escalon. They have a buffet of typical food. Also, as another person recommended, Los Planes de Renderos is good if you want to sample the local traditional food.

Well at the beach, there are restaurants at sunzal beach, there is also a nice taiwanese vegetarian restaurant in San Salvador, wich is nice, it depends on the people and the wedding concept, so that u choose something according to it. Like if it is formal, casual, at the beach, mountain, etc.
