1) Eiffel Tower
2) Arc de Triumph
3) Mont Martre Sacre Coeur
4) Notre Dame Cathedral
5) Louvre Museum (biggest museum in the world!)
6) Musée d'Orsay (The impressionists)
7) Avenue Champs Elysees
8) Le Marais/Ile St. Louis
9) Luxemburg Gardens
10 Any one of 100's of open markets; Bakeries; Cafe's....

Eiffel Tower of course :-)
Don't hesitate to visit "Champ Elysee" and "Arc de Triomphe". Go the "Grand Boulevards" To see some old and big shop like "Galerie Lafayette" (Grands Magasins). Also, why not visit the "Buttes Chaumont" parc (very nice and popular)or the Luxemboug parc (classical french parc style). And don't forget "Louvre" museum: you must see it because of Mona Lisa^^. For a modern side of Paris, go to "La Defense" who is the business area with "L'arche de La Defense". And to have shop like inhabitant from paris and see some stange look people, go to "Les Halles".
