You'll most likely be in a twin otter or a Dash 8.

Hi there,
The flight from Mombasa normally takes 21/2hrs from Mara while from Mombasa to Mara it takes 3 hrs the normal schedules for the flight are 1400 departure from Mara to Mombasa arriving at 1630hrs in Mombasa while on the other had it departs Mombasa at 0730hrs to arrive Mara at 1030hrs. There are different aircrafts used to access Maasai Mara from Mombasa and depends on the number of passangers on that given day, from 3 seater to 18 seater twin otter. Nway there are direct flights from Mombasa to Mara and back. You can try Blue Sky or Air Mombasa for the direct flight or Air Kenya, Safari Link and Fly 540 for flight via Nairobi to Mara and vice vasa

You can use Ble sky or Air Mombasa for direct flights to the Mara or you can also use Safari link or Fly 540 that connects through Nairobi's Wilson Airport. A direct flight will take an hour at least.

You could also go for a private charter, to suite your timings. A Piper (4 pax) is available for hire from Moi Int'l Airport. This will take roughly 2hrs.

Depending on day of the week,and aslo depepnding on whether you want to hire or use schedule flights, we have Twin Otters, Dash 7 and 8 Aircrafts as well as connecting flights via Nairobi. Flight time is 2hours depepnding particulars section of the MARA.
