Fun is relative!Nigeria is so massive that fun presents different meanings to different person as well as place to place. If i understand your intrests it makes it a lot easy to make my suggestions. Are you a night crawler?Do you want to visit disco Tech?Do you want to hang out in a bar drinking pepper soup of different kinds, over a cold bottle of beer? Are u a fan of any of the major European football clubs who is intrested in watching live mates in sports bars all over the country?Do like water sports?Do u want to sail?Do you want to visit privte lodges in smaller island around Lagos?Do you want to visit a local bar and listen to a live band playing different types of music from Highlife to juju, blues to rock and rool?Do you want to hang out in the suya sport?Or do you want to go see Femi Kuti at the African Shrine?Do you want to visit an art galarry to see African art at its best?Do you want to go chassing? The list are endless!Too many things we do as locals. The secret? There are other things that take place in these places which still makes it a secret.Though i must say, they are ot harmful!

Some people are mixing the questions up,the qestion was, what are the fun things to do in Nigeria which tourist rarely experience.some people were talking about osun osobgo festivals and other festivals but quote me,as far as festivals are concerned,a lot of tourist travel far and wide to grace the occasion and they also eat our local food which makes these points ruled out. Then talking about thing tourist rarely experience, you can now think of participating in the preparation our local cuisines, not just eating them, preparing it with our local fire wood and all that and also taking a trip down to the farm and taking part in cultivation and harvesting. They should not just limit their stay in developed towns but should also spend time in the local villages and have some fun under the village tree with our oldies. This could be fun you know.

There are no things a visitor is restricted from doing while in Nigeria so long as you are not breaking the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You are free to go to anywhere in the country with the exception of the oil-rich Niger Delta geo-political zone where the issue of kidnap of whites is still rife and rampamt even though some states from this region are doing a lot to put an end to this evil project of the youths of the area.

If you are the kind of traveller that likes to get off the beaten track and experience the real country and culture as well as doing so in the most responsible way possible - I really recommend you coming to my country Nigeria and make some Fun to make you feel anyhow you want it.

In this area you can enjoy suitable experience of fun and how to make best of local food you will always want to cook when you are in your country. There are nature reserves and it is a great place for tourism as well as other wildlife spotting. There are even Galaria to watch films. You can easily witness an amazing festival experience which you really cannot not afford to miss. In Nigeria we offers a wide variety of tourist attractions such as extended and roomy river and ocean beaches ideal for swimming and other water sports, unique wildlife, hills, vast tracts of unspoiled nature ranging from tropical forest, magnificent waterfalls, some new rapidly growing cities and climatic conditions in some parts particularly conducive to holidaying. MaskOther attractions include traditional ways of life preserved in local customs, rich and varied handicrafts and other colourful products depicting or illustrative of native arts and lifestyle, and the authentic unsophisticated but friendly attitude of many in the Nigerian population. Sorts of activities, attractions, and things to do in this area, the first story building in my country and lots more. All you just have to do is to tell me however you want to catch the fun and I will give you the best of it.

Easy.Where i come from, people do a lot of fun things that you dont see foriegners do. Like groups riding horses round the city, play football (soccer) at night on the streets, involve in board games competitions and what have you. You can really hang out with people you might never even meet again and you have a lovely time.

Fun things to do in Nigeria? There are plenty!!! There are several local festivals one can attend like: IRI JI (NEW YAM FESTIVAL), IGBA OFALA, ODO FESTIVAL, ARGUNGU FESTIVAL, DURBAR FESTIVAL, IGBA ODU FESTIVAL etc. These are just a few. There are also fun places that sell local delicacies like suya, kilishi, isi-ewu, pepper soup, bush meat, bole (roasted plantain) and fish/groundnut etc; local drinks like palm-wine, local gin.
There are also a lot of beautiful places to visit like Asop water falls, Gurara WAter falls, wild life park, musuems, ancient villages, games reserves etc.
Local people take delight in a lot of these things and are always willing to share with visitors.
Nigeria is a real fun place to visit. A trip will convince u and u will surley want to come back and bring others with u!! Trust me!

This is an open-ended enquiry and u need to be more specific. Nigeria is such a diverse country (more than 250 ethnic groups) that "fun" is so relative and unique to each group and environment.

Having fun also depends on the individuality and likes of the person
