We do the following itinerary leaving Cape Town every Tuesday morning

It will be the easiest and the most affordable way for you to see all the highlights of places to see around Cape Town. For more information go to hotspots2c.co.za.

Day 1
Cape Town or Stellenbosch to Stellenbosch

Travel from Stellenbosch or Cape Town to Hout Bay, where we explore the Cape Peninsula's spectacular coastline.
• Hout Bay - Optional boat trip to Duiker Island to see Cape Fur seals.
• Chapman’s Peak Drive - Towering cliffs drop into the ocean on one of the world’s most scenic drives.
• Cape Point - Wild oceans crash into the tip of Africa at its most south-westerly point on this dramatic peninsula. It is situated in the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve, where wildlife roams among the Cape’s unique fynbos landscape.
• Drive past Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, St James & Muizenberg – picturesque seaside villages full of history and character.
• Stellenbosch – an historic town and university campus cradled by the soaring Stellenbosch mountains. Some of the world’s most scenic wine estates are scattered in and around the town. Stellenbosch is well known for its excellent accommodation, decadent and award-winning restaurants and vibrant nightlife.

Day 2
Stellenbosch to Hermanus

Travel from Stellenbosch to Hermanus via a township, wine estates and scenic mountain passes.
• Kayamandi Township - A local tour guide will take you on a walking tour through this vibrant township. Learn more about the Xhosa culture and enjoy the spirit of ubuntu, the African catch-all word for hospitality and warmth.
• Wine tasting - We visit beautiful wine farms, each with their own character and specialities. Sample some of the local wines and cheeses and experience the unique Cape Dutch architecture with the dramatic backdrop of the Stellenbosch mountains.
• Franschoek - The gourmet capital of South Africa celebrates its 17th century French Huguenot origins. The charming main street is dotted with quaint shops, galleries, street-cafes and restaurants, making this town the perfect lunch stop.
• Hermanus - The world’s most exciting land-based whale watching venue*, Hermanus is a laid-back seaside town with excellent restaurants and impressive coast line.
*Seasonal whale-watching (from June to November).

Day 3
Hermanus to Cape Town or Stellenbosch

The brave at heart can join the optional shark cage dive, or enjoy the morning in Hermanus. In the afternoon we venture on via Betty’s Bay and the Kogelberg Biosphere to Cape Town.
• Gansbaai – Go cage diving with the Great White sharks (optional with extra costs), or else spend the morning wandering along the cliff paths and shops in Hermanus.
• Betty’s Bay – At Stoney Point in Betty’s Bay we get close to about 5000 African penguins.
• Kogelberg Biosphere – This UNESCO World Heritage Site has more plant species than many countries and is one of the best natural showrooms for the diversity of the Cape Floral Kingdom.
• Clarence Drive – As we drive back to Cape Town the coastal road winds between the ocean and mountains, passing seaside villages of wild beauty and rugged mountain scenery.

If the itinerary is not what you are looking for then we can also arrange a private tour for you around Cape Town.

Hi, To do JHB, Pretoria and Soweto you will need 2 nights in this area. We can pick a central point for you, Im a guide and can gladly take you around. Do you mean you have 3-4 days in total or per destination. If its short I wouldnt recommend going all the way to kruger, but rather one of the Big 5 parks closer to JHB. Within max 4 hours there are some amazing destinations, would also be nice to combine that with eg Cradle of Humankind, even in 4 days we can make a varied progamme for you. Depending on accommodation required I can do a 4 Night, incl Soweto, Pretoria, Big 5 safari, Cradle, cultural village for about R4800pp Please contact me on flavours@classicmail.co.za if you would like me to work it out for you!

You can do a day in Johannesburg, including Soweto where you'll spend a night in a B&B. Then next morning go via the Cradle of Human Kind & Sterkfontein Caves to Pretoria, where you will spend the night. Next day drive to the Kruger National Park to spend the whole day and spend the night in a resort. Email me on cyberpsy7@gmail.com for a comprehensive quote with an actual itinerary.

Hi Good day
Your description of what you would like to do is on the vague side and seems impossible to fit into 4 days , reasons be
1 Soweto and Pretoria tours can be squeezed into one day
2.Kruger NP is 6 Hrs drive from Johannesburg and need a full day to explore the beautiful country in between
3.You need at least one full day ( 2 nights ) in the kruger to make it at any time worth your while
4 Botswana (lady Detective country ) is a international flight or a full days drive away

So in conclusion please try and shorten your wish list to have a meaningful tour of the area
I am open to discuss any requirements

It will be a stretch to try to fit JNB, Soweto, Pretoria, Kruger and Zululand into 4 days. The shortest sensible itinerary would b as follows:

Day 1 (depending on arrival time – if by 11h00 latest, this can work, else add another day)

Arrive in JNB, do a JNB & Soweto combination tour (5-6 hours), with lunch in Soweto)

Day 2

4 hour Pretoria City tour

Depart to Kruger area, spend night on outskirts of Kruger National Park

Day 3

Full day open vehicle game drive in Kruger Park – spend night in Park if available

Day 4

Early morning game drive in tour vehicle

Depart for Zululand via Swaziland, sleep in St Lucia

Day 5

Full day open vehicle game drive in Hluhluwe-Imfolozi game reserve

Day 6

1 ½ hr hippo & crocodile cruise on Lake St Lucia

Depart for Durban – fly out from there. (Maybe on to Cape Town?)

Anything less than this will be second rate. If they can add two nights, we can include a day exploring the Panorama route with Pilgrimm’s rest, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, etc. The other day can be spent either in Swaziland taking in some Swaziland culture or in St Lucia, on the Eastern shores of the lake, hiking, birding or cycling, or just on the beach. An extra night in Kruger also won’t hurt...

3-4 days Capetown, shark watching, city/area guide..Suggestions?

Day 1

Afternoon tour of Cape Town city (history & scenery)

Day 2

Full day tour of the Peninsula, incl Cape Of Good Hope (Cape Point), Boulders Beach penguin colony, Hout Bay with seal cruise, & Table Mountain

Day 3

Full day Stellenbosch & Franschhoek tour incl wine cellars & historic sites

Day 4

Full day tour to Hermanus for whale watching (seasonal from May – Nov), incl scenic drive through passes & fruit route

Day 5

Shopping at V & A Waterfront and/or a visit to Robben Island

Fly out late afternoon
