you can go in to the internal rooms but they need your passport and you have to pay some fee and you have to follow the guide from the factory.

my hometown is in Hoa Binh province and pictures that u saw is inside the hydro -electric factory. Actually it is not really necessary to have a tour, you can come to visit there and just need a maybe friend who can talk Vietnamese to help you get into. About job, maybe it's difficult, but based on you profession and required salary.

Hi,
Visiting the Hoa Binh hydro electric power dam is no problem. You can go there by your selve or on tour to Mai Chau.
You can sleep at: the Thap Vang Hotel. Nice rooms with TV. Price about: 8 $ US.
Not all industrial locations will be easy to visit. It's always good to contact local agencies for a guide.

You can rent a motorbike in Hanoi center with price from 12$ to 20$ a day then ride there by yourself. As it's said you can go inside to look around.
If you cant ride a motorbike, let take a bus... many buses from Hanoi center to Hoa Binh in a day It's about 70km.
But why dont you travel about Hoa Binh province? Except for industrial locations, Hoa Binh province still has many many natural area ^^
