We eat almost everything known as Mediterranean food, included a lot of beans, rice, mash meet, potatoes, fish, burger, chicken etc... Macedonian kitchen is a combination of European and Orient taste combined over the centuries into pies or pastries known as burek pie with meet, cheese, etc....
You must choose your own taste when you walk by some restaurant and try domestic grill and Macedonian salad called shopska...

If you are interested in our local cuisine... the bread is very used , also a lot of fresh vegetables, salad. We also have same local homemade pasta, like some kind of pie we cal them:"banica, zelnik, gjomleze.... The "tavce gravce" is also famous its made of been, and the "selsko meso". vilage meet, a mixture of meet, mushrooms, papers. we eat a lot of milk products, like yogurt , many types of cheese, white and yellow. We have a very good Macedonian vines ..and beers . Boza is a specific drink...made of fermented flour.....

our food is typical mix between oriental, mediteranian and europian food. Especialy if u came in the south-east of the country
