Getting to Abuja from Warri is fairly straight forward. Essentially, you have 2 options.
First, you coulod try going by road on one of the numerous 'luxurious' buses ('greyhound' buses in americanese) which are actually very comfortable and depending on the company running it, usually airconditioned. I recommend ABC transport fro their reliability and comfort but you should be aware that safety is an issue on long distance cross country routes. Warri to Abuja by Buy takes upwards of 9 hours.
Alternatively, you could take bus to Benin City (about 3 hours) and then get a air ticket to Abuja on any of the domestic carriers (less than an hour)

warri as an airport it will cost about $200 to fly to abuja. another option is by bus which would cost about $85-$100 and about 8-9 hours on the road compared to 1hour by air,so the option is yours

Warri is a city in Delta State, Nigeria. The people of Warri are of the Itsekiri, Urhobo, Ijaw, and other ethnic groups. It is not advisable to travel by sea from warri this days because of the Millitant crisis... The sense of relentless crisis has deepened since last year, when a secretive group of armed, hooded rebels operating under the name of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, or MEND, intensified attacks on oil platforms and pumping stations, most operated by Shell Nigeria. But I think the best way is by air, that is if someone can afford the price which is fastest and safe. The other means is by road.

Well, there is an airport here in Warri. You can take a flight to Abuja. But if you prefer a road trip, you can travel comfortably by bus or car. Take in the sights and sounds of the Nigerian country-side and mingle with the locals.

Apparently, Arik air is the only airline operating the Warri Abuja route right now. The schedule is Warri 1.30pm to Abuja and Abuja 3.25pm back to Warri. You could hit their website and make a reservation or book a flight – http://www.arikair.com The flight cost averagely N32,000.00 or approximately $150 depending on the exchange rate at time of purchase. On the other hand you could travel by road via a bus (ABC transport) or a taxi. Note that your run time would be about 9 hours. And that can be grueling but revealing.

Arik Air has a fokker 50 that plies that route at a fare of $216[about N32,000}and the airstrip is at Osubi, about five to six minutes drive away from the main city.you can book online www.arikair.com. for security reason,as a result of the constant attack by the militants,i will not advise that you go by road, its about nine hours to abuja by road and with the major issues bothering on security threats no amount is too much for an air trip. However if you are a local, you may wish to join ..ABC TRANSPORT..quite comfortable.Price is less than fifteen thousand naira .

there are two ways: you either take the only direct flight by arik air which leaves at 13:30hrs and departs at 15:25hrs, it costs N32,000 ($216) or you can go by road through delta line or other transporters. they usually leave at about 07:00hrs and would cost about N5,000.

Warri to Abuja can be travelled by road via air-conditioned saloon shuttle cabs but the journey could be tiresome as it could take about 6 hours and the roads aren't too good. Alternatively, a faster route is by air. Arik is about the only airline that flies that route and an economy class ticket goes for N16,000 (thats about $120). Flight time is about 55minutes

Answer 1
You could drive to Owerri where there is an airport (enugu airport is being upgraded to an international airport so it has been temporarily closed) and then fly to abuja or drive all the way to abuja from warri delta, you colud rent a car or bus try ABC transport its a coach service and it is very nice ,they go to abuja from enugu and owrri, maybe also from warri(im not sure if they have a direct vehicle from warri ),also try PEACE MASS TRANSIT or INGRACE from enugu.
Answer 2
if you have a road worthy car and can drive you could drive all the way, might take time ,it would be faster and safer to fly from the nearest airport but more expensive,by road you can see the sights on the way and stop wherever you want to buy stuff.if you rent a car you may not be able to be free and enjoy the sights i private or stop where and when you want to,but with your private vehicle you can. its your choice...its easy if you can afford to fly and do not want to see sights on the road side then flying is the best option.
