Bangsar Nightlife

Bangsar is one of Kuala Lumpur's most popular nightspots for locals and expatriates. Almost all the pubs, clubs and bars are concentrated in the streets of Telawi, attracting heaps of patrons on weekends and Friday nights. Listed here are some of the more exciting joints in the blocks of Bangsar to explore.

Petaling Jaya nightlife

Petaling Jaya is home to many unique and exciting nightspots, some of which couldn’t be found anywhere else in the country. From themed bars to buzzing nightclubs, the city comes alive with a different kind of energy late into the night.

Changkat Bukit Bintang Nightlife

Changkat Bukit Bintang is a clubbing area located at the back of the main Bukit Bintang Street. This stretch of road is lined with upmarket clubs and bars, catering mostly for a foreign crowd. Hence, you will find an international atmosphere and clubs with themes from Brazil, Japan, Ireland and much more.

Jalan P. Ramlee Nightlife

Unlike its neighbours in the Bukit Bintang area such as Changkat Bukit Bintang, Jalan P Ramlee has a wackier and more eccentric character. Lively and vibrant after dark, exciting nightlife options line the street, each looking as colourful on the inside as they do on the outside.

Asian Heritage Row Nightlife

Playing techno to Latin beats, the nightclubs lining Asian Heritage Row are a sophisticated bunch, with mesmerising neon lights on the outside and caverns of pure energy within. Known as the city’s hottest party central, Asian Heritage Row is the place to be seen, with the added hip factor of colonial heritage.

Kuala Lumpur Nightlife by Areas

The heart of the city is where most of the big clubs are. During the day, the working offices and shopping malls are the centre of activity but come night, the clubs and discos take over! Pubs and bars, on the other hand, tend to root themselves in urban areas outside the main city areas.

Kuala Lumpur Nightlife by Type

The city centre of Kuala Lumpur, along with some choice urban spots, lights up with excitement at night as crowds of youngsters, revellers and yuppies frequent clubs, bars and pubs on the streets.

Bukit Bintang area is the best. A lot of restaurants open over midnight, also cozy bars.
