Hello Ayman,
I never worked in this issue, but as long I am a brazilian lawyer it can be easier for me to find out all the needs you will need and help you with that.
I looked very quickly on the brazilian law and it seens to me that you can do it everything in the consulate of Brazil in your country (Egypt). Have you already been there? Or talked to someone there and they informed you its not possible? That why you want to do it from here in Brazil?
Well, if you need any help or if you just want to confirm the information they give you, just let me kown, ok?
Best regards,
Tatiana

Answer 2 (701 days ago)

Hello Ayman,
Sorry I havent seen all the answers before...
First of all, your question is how to get brazilian nationality. By law the following can have it:
a) who was born in Brasil, even with foreiner parents, since they were not in service of your origin country;
b) who was born abroad, with brazilian parents (father or mother), since one of them were in service of Brazil; and
c) who was born abroad, with brazilian parents, since they came to live in Brasil and choose at any time for the brazilian nationality.

Now, it´s important to understand the reason your parents came to Brazil, in the time you were born. Official service of your country can have many meanings, and thats why I recommend you to specify better this reason.

I can alert you that its not just diplomatic mission it can be understood as oficial service.

Although I couldnt have given you a proper answer I hope it helped you somehow.

And dont forget that the key for your problem is to get to know how and why did your parents come to Brazil, and have documents to proof it.

If you need more information, let me know.
Best regards,
Tatiana

dear Tatiana ,

thank you very much for your help its really was a great information ,

and the answer to your question why my parents go to Brazil is because my father was working in the Islamic center in Sao-Paulo ,

but it was not in a service to egypt , it was a service to the Muslim people who live in Brazil

and by the way his residential card says that he was not working as a diplomatic or as a government employ ,

its exactly like if the Egyptian university send a professor to work in Brazilian university for a period of time. and he get a child there this child get the Brazilian visa or not ?

in the same time he was sent from the Egyptian government to run this position

if you could help please i need you to search in the Brazilian law if this i don't have the right to get the nationality because of that or not

your help will be very high appreciated thank you very much again

Hi
In order to get a Brazilian passport, you will need your birth certificate, a valid picture ID and proof you voted in the last 2 elections.
As you were living in a foreign country, you will have to go to an electoral justice office and justify your absences - and probably pay a fine. Last, you will need to set up an apointment at the Federal Police to show the required documents. Once things are right, you ll have to go back and get your passport which should be ready in 2 weeks.

I am afraid you will have do present some other documents such as election certificate, military certificate, IRS certificate and Social Security ID #. Having the birth certificate will not be enough for anybody to get the first passaport. I understand you should go to a Brazilian Embassy and check the list of those necessary docmts. Also, before buying a ticket, check if can afford presenting those documents. You could (in case you haven't) check the Brazilian government website to make sure about all information you mast provide to get a new and first passaport. good luck. Roberto

And Egypt gives me a wonderful impression of tradition and adventure. I would love to visit your famous museum in Cairo, I think it is a HISTORY MUSEUM, you can learn alot of your past. I would love to visit Luxor and Alexandria, and also learn more about the north of your country, go deep in the Nubia Area and finally find the falls of the Nile.

So write to me and let's see what we can do together, I will be very happly to help you!

This procedures can be done by yourself with no costs, you will only have to pay for the documents to be ready. But of course with the help of a lawyer which I know a very good one, everything will be faster and with no mistakes!

With a lawyer you get what you want in the fast way!

If you come to Sao Paulo, Brazil, there's a poupatempo where you can get all your documentation done there on the same day. Just take your birth certificate along with photos 3cmx4cm and for first ids. no need to pay any fee. Check the poupatempo site: http://www.poupatempo.sp.gov.br/home/

If you're abroad, just go to a Brazilian consulate/embassy along with 2 photos 5cmx7cm, pay a fee (around 30 dollars) and that's it. But if you're already in Brazil, you may have to get your id first at poupatempo. And if you're over 18, you'll have to go to any Justiça Eleitoral to register there. The fine for not having been registered is about 2 dollars. Anyway, it's much easier to get your passaport at the Brazilian embassy/consulate in Egypt.

Your Brazilian bc makes you a Brazilian national, consequently entitles you to a Brazilian passport. When applying, try never mention your Egyptian citizenry.
I have a lawyer at hand who specializes in accompanying cases like yours.
Look me up: www.aybloc.com. If you so wish I'll help where I can! Insh'allah!
I'm a Rio & Brazilian tourism professional now, but always was a bit of a gypsy like you, too. I once had to even make do with a UN passport for 2 years in Canada, until the confusion was solved.
