40 euro is the price that you can pay for your transfer. But if you bargain you can get it at 35. It also depends on the number of people and luggage you have.

you will have to negotiate if you catch a cab at the airport. They will ask you for about 100 Euros but the real price is between 30 and 40 Euros. 4 passengers with havy luggage is more likely 40 Euros.
You can book your cab in advance and negotiate the price in advance.

The fare may vary from 75 to 100 euros as a very long travel to the North of the Island.

Thank you for your request, the best price I could offer for a one way transfer from airport to Trou aux biches would cost 45 USD/37 EUR, in a 7 seater (plenty of space for luggage)
You would have to book it a few days in advance, and the driver will meet you at the airport

If you going to make use of a taxi you will look at a price between Rs 400 to Rs 800 for the four of you, sometime you may even pay less but it depends on the taxi driver.

In Mauritius our currency is in Rupees. According to some of my sources, your trip from the airport to Trou Aux Biches will be around Rs 1200... But I'll like to give an advice try to purchase with your driver I'm sure he will decrease the rate. Or more simply call at the hotel and ask for a car. They will rent you one with a driver.

If you take a taxi from the airport they might ask you to take 2 cars! And this will cost some Rs 4000 for both. You have to look for a car having a luggage rack as you got 4 people, which you can obtain at the airport as well, but still it will cost -/+ Rs 2000

Well you can pay around Rs 1200 mauritian rupee or less if you can bargain correctly but concerning your luggage it might be a small problem.Unless you contact a tour operator or your hotel have sent a transport to pick you from the airport it will not be a problem.

it depend on the taxi driver and on the date. anything around 2000 rupess is fine from the airport to trou aux biche. this trip will take you about 1 and a half hour depending on the traffic. peak time is between 7:30 to 9:30 and from 15:30 to 17:30

Hi,the fair by taxi would normally be Rs 2,000.00 to ur destination,but you might need two taxis as there aren't minibus,but there are private minibus on arrangement,which mean,booking and deposit.Hope it's enought info.

Greetings Lorenz.

Unfortunately just sold my car if not I would have offered you the transfer.
My advice is to take a mini-bus, quite common here as you will not all fit in 1 car with your luggage.

The normal price is arround Rs2500 for a mini-bus (14 seatter).
