There a few nice park in Kl depending on your transport mode and activities.

1. KLCC park - shopping, fairs and go around the greens

2. Taman Tasik Perdana, excellent for weekend, have the famous Tanglin nasi lemak, head to the nearby bird park or butterflies park or just take a tram around the park.

3. Tasik Metropolitan, Kepaong - Wanna fly kites, its the place during afternoon for its constant wind and kites sellers

4. FRIM Froest research park, large park for hiking around and have a picnic beside the small stream, its unpolluted water will refresh you.

the most convenient is the park attach to KLCC.

I would recommend Lake Garden as there are different types of attraction (Bird Park, Orchid Garden, National Monument etc) but u need means of transportation to get there.

Hi Fazal, you may visit KL Bird Park. The Bird Park is "The World's Largest Covered Bird Park" or "The World's largest Free Flight Aviary".
Opposite the Bird Park the Taman Orchid (the Orchid Garden). This is also worth a visit.A taxi from the city centre to the Bird Park will cost you RM15.- On your way back you have to buy a ticket at a taxi counter.
Address: No. 920 Jalan Lembah Taman Tasik Perdana 50480 Kuala Lumpur
Tel : 603-2272 1010
Fax : 603-2273 5428
e-mail: klbirdpark@po.jaring.my

Besides, Only a stone's throw from the Bird Park is the colourful and beautifully landscaped Butterly Park where over 6,000 butterflies from 120 species roam and fly freely in a simulated natural rainforest environment.

Address:
Butterfly Park
Jalan Cenderawasih
50480 Kuala Lumpur

Hopefully those info is helpful. Enjoy your trip in KL :)

It is depending on your interest if you like a nice and enjoy a piece of mind i would suggest you to go Templer Park or Ulu Yam where you can enjoy away from hustle and bustle of the city. There are public transport available to Templer Park but you have to get your own transport to Ulu Yam where you can enjoy waterfalls and tropical rainforest. Accomodation available in Ulu Yam if you wish to stay overnight, have fun.
