There are no cultural, language, national or any other differences between Serbia and Montenegro, except ones (political) imposed from outside.

Hi Michael,
well there is no big differences between Serbian and Montenegrin culture. In the language is only in dialect, but we can understand each other perfectly, we have the same origin, culture and history only differences is in mentality and influence of Italian culture in coastal part of Montenegro and in traditional cosine.

Hello Michael,
That is a very interesting question. Well, Rastko prety much explained almost everything you want to know, I just want to add that people from these two countries are very intermingled, there are a lot of families that consist of both Montenegrans and Serbs, and we have a grate number of students from Montenegro.. that can illustrate that the two nations are simillar.
Anyway, the differences in mentality (as one of the two tends to be lazyer than the other ;), and I am not revealing which one..) and quisine remain..

Almost 70% citizens of Macedonia has old-Serbian origin, but they wont admit. Montenegrin people declare: 35% as Serbian, and 60 as Montenegrin's with Serbian language :)

I'd say that there are no signifficant differences between these two cultural, political and administrative areas, but there are quite opposite opinions in both countries - to explain, I'd say that the differences are very similar to those between cultural and national areas in the Great Britain ( England versus Scotland, Scotland versus Wales, etc.)...

I think it is very wrong comparation. Scots fought against English domination during all their history and never called themselves English or British! On the other side - The greatest Montenegrians (Njegoš, Kralj Nikola) and all the people from Montenegro called themselfs Serbs until 10 years before!

Hi!

This is very sensitive issue. I see many people here mentioned political differences but I would like to mention that there are also cultural differences. First of all Serbs and Montenegrins speak the same language but with different dialects. The traditional national clothing is very different. Traditional food in Serbia and Montenegro differs (you cant say who has the better one). The mentality of the people differs a lot, Montenegrins are more society oriented and have strong connections to their country whilst this is not so often among Serbs.

Regards,

Mike

Both, Serbian and Monte Negro origins are same, but during the centuries geographical, historical and political reasons made us different countries and some say different nations. But generally we are the same Slavic tribe.

Hello!
There are no differences between Serbian and Montenegro culture. It is same group of people, but nowadays they use to take two new letters in their alphabet. We have same almost all customs (in Montenegro some of them are more traditional than in Serbia, also in Montenegro are still tribal societies in some parts of country and patriarchal families).
Greets!
