Hi Elma, Venezuela´s official language is spanish, in the jungle areas there are tribes that maintain their ancestral dialects. If you´re arriving in Venezuela as a part of a tour group they will usually provide english speaking guides or of the language required. There are many of us who speak more than one language fluently, if you do not have a tour set up but want to ome and visit certain areas of Venezuela it can all be arranged, feel free to contact me at ricardonouel@yahoo.com.
Hope to see you in Venezuela soon!!!

Hi!!! Yes I speak English, French and Spanish... I am able to either guide you myself or arrange for one of my many colleagues to do so. As in any foreign country, safety lies in the assurance that you plan your trip in advance and confirm the bona fides of the people you will be entrusting your well being to. Venezuela has it`s dangerous areas yet we endeavor to never expose anyone to harm. It would be a pleasure to receive you! ventexan@yahoo.com Larry Loebe

Hi Elma. Look. If you´re planning to visit the Venezuelan Amazone, you can find people who speak English through local travel agencies (in Puerto Ayacucho). But I think you better choose a personal guide through this localyte service ´cause you´ll get to know better who can go with you. Too bad I can´t but I wish you a nice and safe trip if you decide to come :)

Remember that Venezuela's official languages are Spanish in most of the country, and the native dialects which are spoken in jungles and forests areas (Orinoco's Delta, Amazonas and Bolivar States). for guidance and other service, it is supposed that you should book and make reservations in advance, since these areas are not that accessible. In the case of Caracas and other cities, it depends on your request. When you are with a guide, you should feel safe and trust him (or her). I can be your guide in Caracas and around the city, you just shoul ask my service's fees
