If you are looking for a very special place to spend your honeymoon, Mauritius is definitely the place for you. Every hotel on the island offers extensive wedding and honeymoon packages. They can also help you in organising every single detail of the ceremony.
Everything is possible. You can choose to have an intimate, private occasion or a more adventurous way of exchanging vows.
On a sunny beachside, under the sea or in the sky, Mauritius will transform your wedding or your honeymoon into an unforgettable moment.

Mauritius will enchant you, will uplift your soul, making you feel that you belong to the chosen few. Every visitor enjoys personal attention. Every encounter is an opportunity to discover a friendly face. Behind each smile lies the promise of a unique holiday. The contrast of a multitude of colours and tastes, the island, set in its turquoise sea, is an oasis of peace and tranquillity. Mauritius, a melting pot where past and present are smoothly blended together, offers an essential beauty that will compel to return to its shores time and time again. May your stay with us remain engraved in your memory forever.

Grand Bay
Grand Bay was the first area of the island to fully experience the tourist boom. A shopping and leisure paradise, Grand Bay also happens to be the area where Mauritians head for when they want a fun-filled night out (restaurants, bars and discos). Recently renovated, La Cuvette beach is well worth a visit.

Pereybère

The wonderful Pereybere public beach is popular because of its shopping facilities, restaurants and pubs.

Balaclava Ruins
A few metres away from Baie aux Tortues, which 17th century sailors named after the many tortoises in the area, can be found the ruins of the old Balaclava estate. Visitors will be able to see the sea walls, whose initial foundations were laid down by Mahé de Labourdonnais.

The Waterpark Leisure Village
Enjoy unforgettable moments sliding on the giant chutes, with family or friends. Relaxation and pleasure guaranteed.

Ile aux Cerfs
Ile aux Cerfs is a paradise for water sports and has the most beautiful beach in Mauritius. You cannot afford to miss this tiny island, delicately poised on the ocean, a real pearl in the Mauritian landscape.

Souillac
A small seaside resort along the rugged coast of the Savanne district. A famous feature is the garden overlooking the sea and named after Dr. Charles Telfair. A popular viewpoint is found at the southern end of the village, right on the cliff top : Gris Gris.

Domaine du Chasseur
Nestling in the Anse Jonchée hills, the Domaine des Grand Bois has splendid hunting grounds covering an area of 900 hectares. Stags, monkeys and boars live amidst the luxuriant vegetation of the hillside. One can watch a few species of endangered birds, including the kestrel. The Domaine contains four thatched-roof bungalows and a restaurant with a panoramic sea view. Take an opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal of venison and seafood.

Dutch Ruins
At Vieux Grand Port, the oldest settlements in Mauritius, you can see the ruins of the first Dutch fortifications. Excavation work is underway in a bid to uncover an important part of Mauritian history.

Ile aux Aigrettes
Owing to the remarkable work accomplished by the Mauritius Wildlife Fund, the island has become an international standard for the protection of natural resources and endangered species. A few of the world’s rarest birds, including the kestrel, can be seen there. You can also discover the extremely rare Pink Pigeon, the Green Gecko Phelsuma and the Aldabra giant tortoise.

Mahebourg
Mahébourg is one of the main fishing villages on the island. Built on the magnificent Grand Port Bay it was founded in 1804 by the French

Hi,

Congrats.....4ur wedding.

Well Mauritius is effectively paradise on earth. You are always most welcome here. People who suggested you to come here 4ur honeymoon have surely pass great moments on the island.

We have lots of tourist activities on the island such as tours, biking, quad biking, big game fishing, sight seeing, snorklong-dolphins, walk with the lion, safari, waterpark, parasailing, undersea walk etc......just some, not to mention the whole list.

It depends upon clients which places they want to visit. Some people may like to visit forests, gardens, waterfalls(nature)while others both nature and sea activities and some may like the sun sea and sand which we are very famous for.

Plz be specific which types of activities you would like and we can work on a package 4u.

Cheers

We make ur dreams come true.

hi beverly

to answer to your question,i would suggest you to first come to mauritius before you decide about the activity you would like to do, site seeing.
thus if you need some information and activities while you are in the island, i will be at your disposal.
personally my opinion i will suggest you a tailor made excursion upon your want instead of doing repetitive excursion.
w.arttours work only upon clients wants and excursion is done only in prvate cars ( maximum family of 4 persons),but for you it will be only you and your wife.

thanks

Hi Beverly => Congratulations and all the best in this laudable endeavour. It would highly be recommended that you rent a car and do the sight seeing yourself as Mauritius being only 720 sq miles, you can see absolutely everything in 2 - 3 days max. Nice places to vist would be Grand bassin, Trou aux cerfs, La marie filter beds, Chamarel - 7 coloured earth, Pamplemousses botanical garden, Black river gorges, Ile aux cerfs, GRSE, gris gris, tamarind falls, souillac garden, port louis museum, mahebourg naval museum, Blue penny museum (the most expensive stamp in the world - blue penny is exposed there). Regarding your stay - please rent a bungalow for cost effectiveness and vary the places where you have lunch and dinner everyday to have a better grasp of the mauritian exotique and unique cuisine blended from diffrent cultures - chinese cuisine, indian cuisine, african cuisine. If you need more subtle info - just reply to my answer...
