Hello
The temperatures are generally still from warm to hot in April, both in Cape Town and in Johannesburg. The night time temperatures can however cool off somewhat at the coast as well as in Johannesburg. It is actually a fabulous time to be in South Africa!
Bring lots of cool clothing for the day time and something warm for the evenings. A rain jacket will also be a good idea for a rainy day.
Regards
Frank

temperatures range from 18 - 18 degrees celcius (64.4 degrees Fahrenheit - 82.4 degrees Fahrenheit). Summer clothing would be applicable, but be warned, Cape Town experiences four seasons in one day.

The temperature is still relatively warm, you might need some warmer clothing on the occasional day but otherwise your normal summer wear. We have been experiencing a lot of rain from time to time, so keep that in mind.

Need I say more, its perfect weather for a visit. All you need is to be weary of night time temperature drops and the rain. Otherwise just bring what you love to wear when the sun is up and warm.

Great time to visit. It's basically Autumn here so weather in both cities will be mild and temperate. Where are you coming from? Our idea of temperate may be your idea of hot. As mentioned, it'll be warm during the day and start getting a bit chilly in the evenings. Day time should be between 16-24 degrees Centigrade and will fall into the low teens (possibly even ten or below depending) during the evening. As also mentioned Cape Town has pretty quick swings in it's weather (often windy too) and also experiences localised weather (Hout Bay may be perfect weather, but on the other side of Cape Town terrible). Basically you'll need to pack a range of clothes, but mostly for a warm climate, with a jacket/jersey/hoodie for the evenings.

Hi Sea-urchin - difficult to predict the weather in South Africa one month ahead of time- it's a bit like predicting politics at the moment - anything can happen. Probably a good idea to bring a warm something for the evenings, as for the day - the temperatures should be around 25ºC. Any other queries: www.mosaictours.co.za
