Getting to Paris is easy - you can ride the RER from the airport directly to the city center. I suggest exiting the RER at Chatelet, then switching to the metro, line No.1 in the direction of La Defense. This will take you directly to the Louvre Museum, which has its own exit. You can also continue on the metro No. 1 to the Arc de triumph, which has its own exit as well. From there I suggest you walk down the Champs Elysees for a few blocks, until you reach Avenue George V, which I suggest you walk down towards the Eiffel Tower.
....I also propose a private driving tour - this is one of my specialties, but not for those with a limited budget. For this tour I meet you at the airport, just past customs and baggage check, with a nominative sign. From there we drive into the city for a 3 - 4 hour sightseeing tour, covering all the monuments for an all encompassing visit of this magnificent city and all it has to offer. You can stop anywhere you like along the itinerary for photos, shopping, etc. The tours are flexible, we go only to those places YOU are interested in visiting.
