My favorite is Gary Danko. It is very good and expensive. Service is beyond excellent. Tell them it is your anniversary.

After dinner, you can take a stroll to Ghiradelli Square as well as the park between the square and the shore.

My wife and I really like Foreign Cinema, which plays old foreign movies (without noise) on a wall in their courtyard. The food is pretty good, but the setting is spectacular. Ask to sit outside if the weather is nice when you reserve.

After dinner, it's nice to go to a bar at the top of one of the tall hotels for a drink and see the entire city and bay. Top of the Marc at the Marc Hopkins Hotel is a nice one.

Hi,
In San Francisco, the most romantic restaurant I can think of is are Fleur d Lis. I like Kokari and Chateau Spencer.
You should also visit Sausalito by Ferry, stroll along the water front, wine taste at Bacchus & Venus Wine and Art Gallery at 769 Bridgeway, across from the little historic visitor center www.bacchusandvenus.com, that has a great little museum in it, and go to Teatro Picolo for dinner or Sushi Ran, which has a Michelin Star.
Good luck, and have fun,
Marcy
