Dear Sheila Walton,
Accommodation in New Zealand vary's depending on if you wish to stay in Hostels, Hotels, Motels and camping. Hostels are from $20-30/night. Motels/Hotels from $80 - 500/night and camping sites are $10-$20/night.

However, it was not for me personally, but as a Localyte Member, I really wanted to know how much a Member would charge for having a traveller in their home for accommodation and services rendered? We do not provide accomodation but can arrange it for you. Please let me know approximate dates and what sort of accomodation you require and the number of persons, also what you would like to do during your visit.

$NZ125 per night, minimum of 2 night's stay.

Hi Sheila. It is so variable. what are you wanting to do and do you have transport. ? For instance.. I live on a river mouth miles from shops, but it is a lifestyle and visitors here, can stay for the cost of the food and any extras. Rough life style and not being sure of when you are needing accommodation, it is hard to know how to be of assistance.

Hello Sheila. Thank you for your question. I no longer manage accommodation places in Wanaka having been self employed for over a year now, but form memory and depending on what type of accommodation you are looking for, you can get hotel rooms from $195 per night, midrange motel rooms from $120, backpackers rooms/dorms from $75/$25 per night and if you want to go camping the local campsite charges $16 for a tent per night. I suggest though you go to wotif as they have great deals, and also research your options and read reviews through tripadvisor. When were you thinking of travelling? Kind regards Glen
