Cute, Quiet Restaurant in Rome

Web
I'm looking for a restaurant recommendation in Rome for two people, where we can eat outside (we'll be there in May) - away from busy streets and not too touristy, but tourist friendly. We're staying at the Inn at Spanish Steps but more than willing to take a taxi or walk to someplace that's worth it! Thanks :)

I love eating al fresco as well and Osteria Ar Galletto in the splendid surroundings of Piazza Farnese (Closed: Sundays) is one of my fav together with the Il Bacaro -

Hello Erin ! A nice restaurant not so far from Spanish Steps is OBIKA' ... 10 minutes walking distance from there. Obika’ is a new restaurant concept which centers its offering on the Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP, together with the research of recipes and artisanal products typical of the Italian tradition and characterized by very high quality. Enjoy! Marco

Dear Erin, if you only want to walk you may reach Piazza Augusto imperatore, and under a big portico you may choose among "Alfredo III : the king of the Fettuccine" an old traditional and well reputated restaurant or " Gusto" a modern alternative place where you have alternatives: the Pizzeria is outside under the portico, but they also have a restaurant and other sections.
If you want to take a taxi (10 to 15€) you may eat outside, in a private garden, probably under a pergula at the restaurant "Lo Scarpone", via di San Pancrazio, 15 : this is really away from the tourist area, well reputated, on the top of the Gianicolo hill, with a great BBQ and they have pizza, full restaurant, fresh fish, wild strawberrys, etc.
