It already got numerous architectural awards from all over the world, and it would be the state of art in this part of Europe. My advice from personal experience is Dubrovnik!
But anywhere along the Dalmatian coast and the Istra peninsula wouldnt be a bad choice.. alot of history and beauty are combined, beautiful architecture, beaches..
I also recomend the islands..
