In Rio de Janeiro from Pedra Bonita which is a high cliff above Sao Corrado , beutiful scenery and you land on the beach of Sao Corrado you can contact the instructor and get orgsanized : Eduardo Soares .

Wow, just now i am reading your question....
But check more info about a place in Niteroi that I like very much, PARQUE DA CIDADE. Jumping from there is always cheaper than in Rio's side!

Some insiders say the world's best place is off the Pedra Bonita in Rio de Janeiro, landing on S茫o Conrado beach. Sometimes such a flight can last ... and last ... and last ... due to the perfect up-winds.
Some of Brazil's surviving world champions can be met there every day.

It is possible at Maracaipe beach near Porto de Galinhas in Pernambuco state. The nearest airport is Recife (40mins). Other sports are also available including diving and all equipment is available for hire. The most famous place is Pedra Bonita in Rio de Janeiro ! YOu might find flyers from any hotels in Copacabana/Ipanema area.

Besides the much answered Pedra Bonita in Rio, you will find great flying in Atibaia, some 55 km from S茫o Paulo and in Governador Valadares, in Minas Gerais.
