Dear Guru Prasad,
I'am so sorry to be late in answering you. I was too so busy last week that I didn't have time to check my emails! anyhow, I directly go to answer your questions:
- there are some cheap inns in center of Tehran but h;ow decent thery are depends on your standards! at the same time you may stay in my house as a guest and free of charge but if you want me to serve as your driver-guide or even as an scorted guide, you should pay me a daily wage and I asure you it won't be more than what you may pay for a three star hotel in Tehran!
-Tehran has many places to offer. other than museums and palaces, Bazaar and
magnificent shppping centers, for the nature lovers, there are many places to treck for a day or even for a few hours. also you may visit cities like kashan and Qom
in a two-day trip from and back to Tehran. I have two cars; a 4*4 (Nissan Patrol) for the nature trips and off roads and a Sedan (Peogeut-405) for sightseeing and excursion.
I'll try my best for a delightful Tehran and suroungings journey if you will so.

I have had the pleasure of visiting Iran many times and the advantage of speaking Farsi relatively fluently. Believe me, Iran is such a hospitable place, the people are to hospitable and the food divine. I am sure you would have discovered this by now.
In Tehran, there is so much to visit. the old palaces now museums, the national Jewels and much more... take a walk in the Bazaar of Tehran and you will be busy for days altogether. Just walk around and watch the people. If carpets interest you, I would suggest the Carpet Museum... the list is almost endless... I am sure Reza Agha would be of great help in the finer details... Have fun and enjoy one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
