Hi Angela - My wife and are in Pretoria for one day - on Sunday Nov 29 leaving early the next morning. We should be getting to the hotel (Sheraton) for about 11 am. Can you arrange a tour around Pretoria for us for say half a day. Also let me know of prices etc...

Have you got any ideas what you would like to see or do while in Pretoria?
Pretoria itself doesn't have a lot of active tourist sites, and many of the locations will close early on a sunday. The Sheraton is right across from the Union Buildings, but I do not believe there are any tours there anymore. If you want to do a bit of Shopping, there is Menlyn and Brooklyn Shopping centers that should cater more or less for any needs you may have.
If you want to see a little bit of Wildlife, the Rietvlei Dam Nature reserve is a good option (http://www.rietvlei-reserve.co.za/ ), or you might considder visiting the old Voortrekker Monument (http://www.voortrekkermon.org.za/tours.html) which is also a nice place to do some horse riding if that is your thing.

My personal opinion is for you to contact directly The Sheraton Hotel...they suppose to have contacts with the Turistic Co and the one operating withing the Hotel....to me sound more like to have a little bet of Pretoria view..and then take off to Johannesburg...here is more action then in Pretoria...is a quite city...very
