For a place to stay in the Johannesburg leg of your trip, would require a bit of research.
To do this I would need to know what your budget is, what your interests are, number of people in your party and the mode of transport available to you for your stay as well as for how long and when.

Hi Adeniyi,

Straight off I will say that I am not a specialist on Johannesburg, so I will simply suggest places that I have heard of from guests whom I have hosted in Cape Town and who have raved about these places.

Try:
Sun City
Tintswalo
Sandton city

In Cape Town I would suggest:
Grand west
V&A waterfront
One&Only Cape Town
Canal walk

If you need any further assisatnce in your research, you can contact me at robair@iafrica.com with pleasure

The above places all vary quite vastly by budget but are probably enough for you to get your research started with.

Cape Town is one big resort with beautiful beaches on both sides of the peninsula. V&A Waterfront, Camps Bay, Clifton on the Atlantic side and Muizenberg, Kalk Bay and Simonstown on the Indian side. Fabulous winelands and Stellenbosch the main town of this area. Long street for fun and V&A, Canal Walk, Cavendish and Tygervalley shopping malls.
