well, a hostel cost like 12 dollas max.The transport cost each trip less than 1 dollar. The food, In chile are a lot of cheap places to eat you are not going to pay more than 15 dollars..... About staying with a family I found it difficult.

Hey...Subrata Great idea to came visit Chile..!!! You'll be very welcome!!
If you have the chance to stay whith some family it will be very cheap for you...only you`ll need something to move around by public transport,some lunch or dinner,etc
I will say no more then 100 american dollars per week.-

Good choice!!!

The cost always will depend on the city and the facilities you choose. But if I have to set the minimum a week I would say:
Lodging: USD130
Transportation: USD 30 (public trasnportation per person a week)
Meals: USD 90

If you stay the whole week in Santiago de Chile, there´s a lot of places you can film.
