I would have gone to one of all the small local bodegas, to a "despacho de vino" as for example Bodegas Almocaden in Calle del Jardinillo 7 in Jerez. They sell their local wine "al granel", meaning direct from the barrils. Bring your own clean plastic bottles or buy them at the "despacho". If you prefer bottled wine, you can as well by it on the supermarket.

I also recommend the first answer, but maybe i can add that in Jerez you will find lot of bodegas to have a taste and most of them have excellent wines.Jerez it's small, take a ride, taste and choose.I won`t tell you which are betters than the others.Perhaps because everyone has its own special taste, but i am sure that you will find your own best one.

Jerez“s Wines are superb but I also recommend you to taste Wines from the surronding cities, places where a tasty and traditional wine is made like Sanlucar de Barrameda, Chipiona and El Puerto de Santa Maria. You will never forget how wonderful these cities are.
