There are different choices on this issue:If you say, “I’d rather see the Bosphorus, the mansions and all the districts from sea instead of having fun.â€, we suggest you go aboard one of the Bosphorus cruise boats of IDO from Eminönü.

The boats first stops by a couple of piers then passes by the districts on the Asian coast of Bosphorus, and docks at the Anatolian Pier. After a couple of free hours, the ship returns on route closer to the European coast. The cruise ends at Eminönü. Besides, we suggest that you go on the Moonlight Cruises again by IDO to enjoy the beauty of the Bosphorus at night.

It is also possible to see the Bosphorus closerwith cruises by many private companies. If you have a big, crowded group, then you may rent these boats privately. There are different cruise schedules of the companies: Some travel all along the Bosphorus and give breaks at such districts as Anadolu Kavağı and Rumeli Feneri to eat fish, the others serve food aboard and accompany the meal with live Turkish classical music. You can look at the services of different companies and join the Bosphorus cruise you prefer.

by far the cheapest way is to take the IDO commuter service from Eminonu or Besiktas to Rumeli Kavsagi. It runs every 15 min or so during rush hours and costs 2TL/person but is only one way (from Eminonu 5pm-7pm, to Eminonu 6am-about 9am)
