You do not want to go to La Fortuna and the volcano without seeing the hot springs. There is 2 in the area and the one you want to go to is Tabacon Hot Springs and Spa. It is well well worth the admission, Beautiful, relaxing and don't forget to take your bathing suits.

Also you do not have to stay at the resort to go to the hot springs they own. It is the highest price in the area, not worth it and the view of the volcano not that great. To view the volano make sure and go to the Observatory park and restaurant to view from their deck.

That one should be Tabacon and it is beautiful but pricy, if is out of your budget check kokoro lodge or silencio del campo.

There are 5 Hot Springs in the area. I think you are talking about Tabacon Hot Springs. This are probably the oldest and best known. I think they charge around $80 per person including entrance and dinner. There is also Baldi Hot Springs ($40 p/p) Eco Termales ($55 p/p) But my favorite is The Springs Resort & Spa ($60 p/p) All of them include dinner. Let me know if you want to visit any of those; I can help you out to make a reservations. Regards, Emilio.
