yes it is safe and i am owner of travel agency and have daily travellers from world wide come to Egypt ... even she can use normal taxi and Egypt is totally safe

Yes for sure it's very safe, i was there for 01 month ago and the palce and the road is very safe, also she can use the Hostle of the Uni, Which is inside the University, So she won't have to go out alot.

I usually do not answer much but found this quite funny. This is a recipe for disaster, a blond girl in the Egyptian streets is practical suicide.
If she wants to, she must have a car, and if she cannot drive you'd better cut a deal with a 'known' driver who can take her. Never send her out alone.

Cairo is very safe, I am English and have lived here for over 7 years, I have never encountered any disrespect.
I f she wears clothes that are respectful, no short skirts or vest type tops she will be fine. There are many foreigners who come to study at the university, she will make friends easily and they will show here around and make sure she has a very enjoyable time, good luck

yes its safe she can go , have friend how is a student repesentive in the auc she can help her acustom with out culture , she can also stay in the auc dorms in the centre of cairo as well as the new campus , if you would like i could contact my friend so he could find her a decent hostel or apartment if you wish

I fully understand your worries, I have two grown up kids and still worry bout them all the time,
Being a blond is not a problem, since we hv a lot of false blond in egypt, I want to assure you that the new campus is a way out of the centre in an area called new Cairo where only very hihly sophisticated families live, it is safe and quiet
Soon after your dUghter arrives to AUC, she will mingle beautifully with Egyptians and none Egyptians colleagues and she will be well instructed by them, as she will take their words more than yours,

of course it is safe. One of our workers is also blond and beautyful girl. She lives in the centre of the city and spent here all the Revolution without any bad situation or accident. It is really safe, even more for blond, beatyful girls than Egyptians because she will be treated as a tourist. And all tourists are very very safe in Cairo, and all around Egypt.
