Is Zamalek or Heliopolis closer to the American University of Cairo?

If you mean AUC down town than it is zamalek but if you mean AUC new Cairo branch than it is Heliopolis

Dear Sirs; Actually this question can't be answer easilly; It depends on what kind of studies you want to join..for example they have two kind of students the Permanent Students and Part Time students..so the 1st one located at New Cairo after moving it from DownTown..so Heliopolis became near..and the 2nd still at DownTown and also they give some Lang. Courses at Zamalek same buliding for the Student's Hostel is..then in this case of course Zamalek would be near to DownTown..I think you should contact with the AUC..to get more info., Tnks

Yes Zamalek is near the AUC that is on El-Tahrier Sq. but there is another auc the new building will be near to Heliopolis

I t depends on which department in the AUC you are wanting, because both areas are close to the univerities. I t wiould be better to conatct the AUC directly

the main Auc ( the main one ) is in tahrir square which is 10 min by taxi to Zamalek , but in same time there is a new branch for AUC as well it's very close to helipolis square

For AUC down town beside Tahrir Sequare Zamalek is closer n for AUC Fifth avenu Heliopolis is closerI were worked at down town main campus for 10 years so i will be glade to help

The Old Building of the AUC is closer to Zamalek.
& the New one is closer to Heliopolis :)
