There are about 2000 Russians living in Sri Lanka & from tourists that come to Sri Lanka about 5% is Russians.I have seen so many beach side hotels have written their names & even menus in Russian languages.There is an Russian embassy & a Russian cultural center in the capital Colombo.

Russians in Colombo ! there are Russians living in Colombo some are in BOI business, diplomatic & tourist too. As i am in Shipping industry i meet many of them who are in same trade coming & going to Sri Lanka.
