Is there any ballroom dance clubs/halls in Venice? I prefere authentic ballroom dancing, not discoteca.

I have no idea where they are, I don't go dancing or in disco, I prefer to go fliyng or mountain biking, or sailing my sailboat.

However if you ask for "Sala da Ballo" or "lezioni di ballo" or "corsi di ballo", you are looking for a training place for dancers, usually including a free lesson to see if you want in.

But if you ask for a "Pista da ballo" there is rather like a restaurant with a dancing floor, and they mention in the beginign wich type of music each night they paly, clasic, liscio (slow dance), blues, tango, south american (salsa, etc).
