Coming for the Surfing Event next month and I have found a couple places, but cannot find contact info on the web, maybe you can help? I have been there several times, but many years ago. Such a beautiful country, people and waves! Really looking forward to coming back, if only for a week. Voy ingresando el proximo mes para el evento de surf. Ya encontre varios lugares sobre el web, pero sin informacion de contacto, Tal ves me puedes ayudar? Si conoce el pais, pero ya paso demasiado anos. Un pais hermosa con sus habitantes que me trato tan bueno, y las olas perfectas. Deverdad estoy emocianando de regresar, si solamente sea una semana!!!

There are a lot of hostels and small hotel/motels around La Libertad areas. I would try looking in El Tunco as there are some super nice y mas barato places to stay. My friend Juan Carlos runs a surf tour company there called http://www.paradiseadventures.biz/ and he can likely hook you up. Also here on localyte quicksilversurf has lots of great info

Do you know the name of the 5 story place that has like a RED lighthouse on the corner of the building? It's right on CA2, 1 block from beach, close to Hotel Rick. I am trying to find the number to that place. Mahalo for your help! ALOHA

Thank you, but not looking for that kind of service, I lived in Central America for over 22 years, with several visits to the area, but I know it has grown a lot since. I am just trying to get the number to that new 5 story place with the big red lighthouse tower on the corner of it. Was hoping for some AC and poolside this time around..TKS

Well first of all where you want to stay and what kind of place you're looking for cause we can get you from hostels $7 a night in dorms to beach front hotel starting @ $80-$125 or not beach front but still in the beach $40-$60. So let us know what you're looking for and maybe we can help you out.

The red light house is not a hotel and it was damaged by the river flood last year, by the way I'm trying to help you..... not charge you, it seems you think that a tour co. all they want is to sell you services and our goal is to help ppl as much as we can so they can travel to our country and enjoy it the way they want to.

You rule! Thank you for clearing up the conversation. Someone told me it was an old friend of mine that owned that place, but I am thinking he is confused now. I was hoping for around $60 a night with pool and AC, maybe even room service? haha Maybe I am asking a lot? It is only my son and I, and we are coming for the contest at Punta Roca next month, so we were hoping to be in walking distance from Punta Roca, but can always drive if the price and service are what we are looking for.
