Hello!!! The cemetery that you are looking for is called the "Cementerio de los disidentes".
I can show you the place. For doing that I can wait you here in the Valparaíso bus terminal and then go to the cemetery. This one close at 17:00 hrs.
The web site of the Santiago Airport: http://www.aeropuertosantiago.cl/english/
There you can find many options to take a bus to Santiago (Around 10 minutes trip), or hire a private taxi.
Sadly I don't offer City Tours from Santiago to Valparaíso.
Exist another companies, that do trip from Santiago but they have just city tours programs
Let me know if you are interesting in my suggest to give you all the tips.
I'm looking forward for your reply

Hi, from the airport to Pajaritos subway station it will cost you around 4 dollars, from Pajaritos to Valparaiso is about 12 dollars round trip, and from the bus station to the cemetry you can take a bus or a taxi or a "colectivo" that's like a shared taxi and that's about 1 dollar, a taxi maybe 6 dollars. So there you go, if you just come for the day it will be around 20 dollars. Let us know if you need more help.

From the Santiago Airport, you can either take a TurBus straight from the airport for less than 5,000 CLP (about eleven dollars) roundtrip, or take the bus back to Pajaritos (about 1300 pesos) and take another bus out to Valparaíso for 5,000 CLP round trip. From the rodoviario (bus station in Valparaíso), it sounds like Leo Silva is willing to take you to the cemetary. If not, you'd probably have to hire a taxi, but I'd think going with a local is a better bet than just getting dropped off.
hope that helps. Getting to Valparaíso is dead easy. Buses leave from Pajaritos every ten minutes all day long until around 10 at night. Buses from the airport leave less frequently, but Pajaritos is only 15 minutes away.
hope that helps!

Hello, according to your time and budget you can eitheir take a taxi from Santiago's aiport (please whatch out with the thieves who pretends to take you anywhere from there charging 3 times more than a decent driver, they must have a visible telephone nunber on their car) A roud trip can easily might cost usd200 from there! you better take a car or a shuttle bus from the aiport to the Metro station called Pajaritos, just about 15 minutes from the aiport and from there a bus to Valparaiso, they usually run every 30 minutes and take about 1 hour and 40 minutes to get there, downtonw area from where you can take a taxi to the Cementerio de los Disidentes (since they were not catholics they were called Dissidents:) A roud trip by bus will cut off the expenses to usd 45 ,light lunch included , but you will miss the hot and most beautifull spots if you dont take a private , friendly tour guy there heehhehe, good luck! Hi Jack,
Here is what I can offer you: airport pick-up, direct transportation to Valparaiso´s "Cementerio De Los Disidentes" with all the help you need to find the burial place you`re looking for, then -if you want- a sightseeing tour around Valparaiso and it`s neighbor city Viña del Mar- and then when you feel ready, back trip to Santiago (whether if it`s back to the airport or some hotel). I have a very comfy car and know all of these places pretty good. Perfect english speaking as you can read. The round trip would cost you US $250.
Also if you like, I can tour you around Santiago and surroundings. Just need to ask you for the date you´re planing to come.
Will be looking forward for an answer.

G'day Jack,
The Info from the previous answers is correct, regarding the bus details. But to answer your question, you will probably pay around $150.US each way from the Airport to Valpo, maybe give the guy another $25 for waiting. If you can speak spanish and dont look too rich, you will get it for $80 each way. Doing the same trip in Australia would cost you $600 Aussie $. And its possible the last name was spelt Alejandra on the stone, the female version of Alexander. If that helps when you are actually there.
Good Luck,
Adam
