You'll love San Juan del Sur!
Canopy Tour (zip lining) is great, Hermosa Beach has just opened and it has a great restaurant and surfing... shuttles run daily.. ATV day rental is a blast, fishing and surfing are good right now too... and then there's horseback riding tours with www.ranchochilamate.com :) Enjoy!!

FISHING, HUNG AROND THE CITY AT NIGHT. YOU CAN ALSO SURF AT MADERAS BEACH OR, IF YOU WANT THE ADVENTURE, YOU MAY GO TO TOLA BEACHES, ABIT FARTHER NORTH FROM SAN JUAN. THIS AREA IS MORE AUTOCTONOUS, STILL. MOST OF ITS BEACHES REMAIN AS FISHING VILLAGES, IN SPITE OF THEIR DEVELOPMENT.

IF YOU NEED EXTRA HELP: serenidad555@gmail.com, or call me to 86569644

HAVE FUN!!

I guess if you like that area, there's going to be a lot of advice - Why don't you look into our area, far Northwest....we're off the beaten path but still offer great food, amazing adventure activities and oceanfront accommodations in a safe and clean environment....you can see a sample at www.rbrmechapa,com.
Otherwise, enjoy your stay in this beautiful country!

Best way to get to known the town is by a night walking, is very safe, there are lots of place cheap and good. If you want to eat nicaraguan food or at least taste it you can go to the "mercado", I loved to eat breadfast there. You can climb to the Jesus on the mountain by walking too, I love to walk a lot :P , playa madera is near and there are some taxis near or there are boats too.
