hi! I am currently living in Brazil, studying at PUC. My friend is coming to stay with me for the months of May and June, and she was interested in getting involved with some volunteer work in Rocinha (as she has heard me talk so much about it). I wanted to know if you know of any organizations that are looking for volunteers in Rocinha. She is interested in teaching math or English, though is really open to just about anything, especially involving youth. She speaks Spanish and English. Let me know if you have any recommendations! I have work going on right now in Santa Catarina. Looking for anyone who would trade of work in helping in Aquaponic farming project.
