Oscar, greetings from El Salvador and congratulations for your brother's wedding. About your recent concern I must add that Hacienda Cajamarca is located in the nearby areas of San Salvador Volcano. La Libertad beach although it is still close to the city it might be inconvenient for traveling back and forth to the city on such an important occasion.
I would definitely encourage you to stay at a closer hotel in San Salvador. I would recommend the Hotel Siesta or Hotel Capital which have a fair tariff.
If you would still like to stay at the beach I would encourage you to stay at the "Hotel el Pacifico Sunrise" which is located in the entrance of the beach. It has fair tariffs and the hotel has very nice accommodations.

Well... near La Libertad Beach theres a ranch.. call root ranch. The place is great and theres a surf envioroment, good bars, and its unexpensive.. $20 per night or less, depends of date.

If you would still like to stay at the beach I would too encourage you to stay at the "Hotel el Pacifico Sunrise" which is located in the entrance of the beach. It has fair tariffs and the hotel has very nice accommodations.

Ok. First of all congratulations on your brother's wedding. Second, you definetly want to stay in San Salvador, since Hacienda Cajamarca is located at the volcano. However, this weddings usually have transportation to Cajamarca (which happens to be a 20 minute ride in car from the San Salvador- Santa Tecla- Antiguo Cuscatlan Area. Third Hotel Siesta, no. This hotel is located at a busy area full of buses. My advice, Marriot Courtyard in La Gran Via (Antiguo Cuscatlan) It costs aproximately 90 USD and the breakfast is great. Also this hotel is located in the Gran Via Mall which is a nice place to eat, drink and relax. Finally, Pacific Sunrise in la Libertad is located in the middle of a busy part of La Libertad. My advice is to head to El Sunzal, 10 minutes away from la libertad. The hotel in CAFE SUNZAL is great, cozy and afordable (70 USD aprox). If you need further advice on conmortable hotels please contact me. San Salvador has plenty of bed & breakfasts in the residential and less comercial areas. (See Hotel Mirador, Hotel Alicante, Hotel Berlin in Santa Elena and Hotel Arbol de Fuego in Antiguo Cuscatlan)

Congrats......Hence you wish to stay at the beach with your family, I will either stay at Playa Tunco which is a bohemian - surfers town (about 8 hostels from which to choose: Roots,Tekuani kal o Papaya´s) or at the port in Pacific Sunrise or Punta Roca. Up to you!!!!!!

Congrats! There are many hotels in La Libertad and you can choose by rates, location and activities. Are you a Surfer? Are you staying alone? How many with you? Kids? You can find hotels with rates from $50 to $120.
I´d recomend that for the wedding days you stay at San Salvador, since Cajamarca is about 20 min. up in the volcano. (nice choice). In San Salvador you coud stay at a bed and breakfast hotel since you´re going to be attending family reunions, you dn´t need all the busy activities of a big hotel. Let me know, I´ll get you some good places.

Hola Oscar te cuento que la carretera a las playas de la libertad estan en construccion, y suelen haber trabasones de 15 a 20 minutos y por la noche es algo confuso los carriles habilitados, Yo trabajo para Hotel Alameda en San Salvador es un hotel cerca de todas partes. la habitacion sencilla cuesta $45 la doble $50 y la triple $58, todas incluyen desayuno incluido. Muchos personas de Guate se quedan aca. Saludos Raul Cea

Hi Oscar, the road to La Libertad is under construction, you can get in a 15 to 20 minutes traffic Jams, its a bit dangerous due to the construction site,I work at Hotel Alameda in San Salvador the single room is $45 double $50 $58 includes breakfast, many people of Guate stays here.

First we need to know how many days do u want to stay at the beach? How much is your budget and how many people is going to stay with u!
also one day before the wedding we recomend u to stay at a hotel in san salvador because of the traffic problems. If u want to tourist in the town or other activities we can give excelent prices!

how many people?? how many days?? when are u coming n when its ur brothers wedding??? there're hotel from 10us up to 60 in la libertad depending in what ur looking for...
n theres places in san salvador that will also prob make u happy.. and theres also lots to do everywhere.. if u could be a bit more especific i could help u better... its all about having a wonderfull trip!!!!!

oscar answer for your question im gonna give u a lot of suggestions, you not only can go to La Libertad you can go to El tunco, El zonte y El Saunzal, there are Hotel in El tunco like Mopelias the cost is $10 per person although if you are looking for something pretty you can go to Roca Sunzal 60$ per person. In El zonte you can go to Esencia Nativa average 20 to 35$ per a double room.
