Conrado resort has gone thru changes in the past. They have one of the nicest locations on the waterfront along the road towards Pigeon point. The outside boardwalk is a really nice place to hang out and take a drink or two and watch the waves gently lap up onto the sand. Plenty of local fishing boats are moored here, fresh fish is nearly always available.

Conrado Beach Resort is located on Pigeon Point beach just a few meters from the famous Pigeon Point Heritage Park. It is a simple and small hotel but the rooms have recently been refurbished. Make sure you book one of the superior rooms with sea-view. Their beach terrace is great...one of the few places in Tobago where you can actually sit on the beach and enjoy a cold beer or Pina Colada.

Conrado Beach Hotel has been in existence for more than 20 years and is located in a very pretty spot near the entrance to Pigeon Point. Right on the beach you can take a beautiful walk alongside the reef and see fish and crabs right there by your feet. Walk North to Pigeon Point, South past roadside craft stalls to Bagos bar (next to Coco Reef Hotel) and supermarkets, bars and restuarants further on. There is limited swimming here due to the proximity of the reef but you will enjoy typical Tobago views of white sand and coconut trees bending to the water. Sometimes the beach can be dirty here with the detritus from the nearby fish processing depot.
I have lived in Trinidad for over 10 years but don't know anyone that has stayed in Conrado. It's certainly not a luxurious or international standard hotel. But if you want a beachside spot, the location is difficult to beat.

I regularly visit the Conrado Beach hotel for drinks and either lunch or evening meal and to enjoy the sunset. I find the position of the hotel beautiful, right on the beach and the staff are very pleasant. Food is good and reasonably priced and a good selection. They do what I consider to be the best Pina Colada on the island. I have never stayed there but have spoken to people who regularly come back as repeat guests and they seem satisfied with the accomodation
