I don't know in Punta del Este either, but there's a very nice vegetarian nice place in Maldonado. RincĂłn St. between Florida and SarandĂ. I don't remember the name now. It's not a restaurant, but you can pick your food and take it with you. They have very tasty options.

Hi Mirta, I'm going to give you 2 options in La Barra of Punta del Este:
* El Chancho y la Coneja: http://www.elchanchoylaconeja.com/ is not a strict vegetarian restaurant, but they have several veggie dishes, nice food, excellent quality and affordable prices, very recomendable!

A very nice place, gourmet veggie food, I reccomend it as well.
