Price of the Eco Friendly tour

Web

I'm going to Santiago in April with 5 more people and we would like to take a tour on April 14th. The tour we would like is to visit Concha Y Toro and enjoy a wine tasting and at the same day this eco friendly tour of the the Maipo Canyon. How much it would cost and how can I reserve it? Can the payment be made on the day of the tour? By the way, do you do transfers (airport/hotel)? How much it would cost to 6 people? We are going to stay in Providencia. Thank you in advance, Fernanda

there are many transfer from the airport, it should cost around 20 dollars eich
I recommend you do the two tours in different days, so you can enjoy Concha y Toro's tour... for that you can contact directly the viña via internet
as far as the "Cajón del Maipo" you can go and walk around an entire day, it's really beautiful but maybe not that worth because it's a landscape repetitive through the central zone in Chile
By the way, I can't do it that day, I only can on weekends...

I'm going to Santiago in April with 5 more people and we would like to take a tour on April 14th.
1.- The tour we would like is to visit Concha Y Toro and enjoy a wine tasting and at the same day this eco friendly tour of the the Maipo Canyon.
Yes it is possible, if you goes to the first tour in the morning at the vineyard, later you are free to go up by the Maipo valley, the vineyard is right at the Maipo Valley
2.- How? Could be by bike if you wants to make it Eco friendly. . You can also take a local small bus, and if you wants a Van , I would need to look for more information.
The Rio Maipo valley is formed out of the Andes Mountains and provides journeys into the Cordillera, providing amazing mountain views above and below. There is only one road that runs mostly along the Maipo Rivers, There is a lot to offer such as outdoor activities ranging from hiking, rafting and mountain biking. The main towns are San Jose de Maipo, founded in 1791 following the discovery of silver deposits nearby, and also San Alfonso. Down the valley there are wine vineyards. You can ascend higher via El Volcan, Banos Morales, is a Hot Spring, to the Monumental National El Morado ; Banos de Colina an other natural Hot spring up the Andes and further east, Cajon del Morado for the huge glacier. One of the best places to go to walk and hike is Cascada de Las Animas, you can read about it at : http://www.cascadadelasanimas.cl/
3.- How much it would cost and how can I reserve it?
About the vineyard Tour the cost is about ten dollars , $ 6.000 chilean pesos and you can make the reservation by email, phone or when you arrive there
4.- Can the payment be made on the day of the tour?
Yes you can pay the same day. Even that is much better to make the reservations before.
5.- By the way, do you do transfers (airport/hotel)?
At the airport are some real good transfers to the city, right to the hotel. and are cheaper than Taxi cab or by car. You don’t need reservation, when you arrive, after the Customs, before getting out of the building, you will find the office, I use to recommend the Transvip Tranfer .
6.- How much it would cost to 6 people?
The cost is $ 6.000 each person or could be all the mini bus for $ 20.000 , you can visit the webpage www.Transvip.cl
7.- We are going to stay in Providencia.
Providencia is a good place to stay, is a quite , safe neighbourhood . the Metro ( underground subway) runs all along the Providencia avenue. Providencia is a Comuna ( something like a county) full of life, you will find malls, shops, all kind of restaurants, hotels, parks, etc
8.- Thank you in advance, Fernanda
April is a nice time for coming to Santiago, not too hot, not too cold. You could find some of the best Vendimias ( the grapes harvest to make wine)
How many days are you going to stay at Santiago? Where are you from? And about the Maipo valley, you cant forget that we are talking about the Andes Mountains and the tour would start at about 800 mts high at the Concha y Toro Vineyard and the top of the road its at about 2.500 mts high.

Thanks Marianne

In this website http://www.atrapalo.cl/actividades/tour-medio-dia-a-la-vina-concha-y-toro_e39302/ there are some tours available, you can go to Concha y Toro by your own or you can hire a touristic service. The price for a tour with transfers its about 40 dollars and they start the tour from a mall in Las Condes, close to Providencia.
The Maipo Canyon has a lot of activities, so the price depends on what would you like to do! (trekking, rafting, cavalcade, etc)

Hey how is it going? My name is Cristian and we do Ecotourism tours around Santiago, Cajon del Maipo and central Chile, every week. You can check out our web page to have an idea of the tours, for example so you have an idea of the price, a full day tour to el cajon del maipo with a trekking to a glacier and then to the hot springs is $ 40.000 clp (van, entry park and hot springs, bilingual guide included), this tour is called “glaciares y termas”.
So you can get in touch with us directly through the web page and we can sort out the trip you want with the Concha y Toro + Cajon del Maipo, we can do the vineyard, Maipo Canyon: visiting the villages and surroundings, a small trek, waterfall, and even the hot springs, or if you want to do the longer trekking you need to do it in different days, because the day is going to be shorter in April (we have daylight saving in Chile).
We also do airport pick up.
We look forward to hearing from you
Cristian
