Depending what you call center. istanbul is divided in 2 parts European and Asian side. Both have many "centers" depends on what your are looking for !!

All sorts of shops are everywhere... and yes, the nature of what you call center is vARiant...

Another shopping haven on the European side is Nisantasi.
More commercial is Besiktas...

Actually,as another friends told istanbul has two sides,europe and asia sides.İn Asia sides You can find generally economical and middle class shops.They are generally for middle class families.But in Europe side,you can find many very luxuries and prices can be higher than asia side but if you ask my opinion,europe side can be better.
