Plenty. When in the city - visit the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, perfect for snorkeling just 15 minutes away from KK (there are ferries to take you there); within the city - Signal hill Observatory for a bird's eye view of the city, State Museum for an understanding of the state's headhunting past, architecture, etc.Sunset cruises are available from the city's jetties; golf (at the Sutera Harbour Golf and Country Club or Nexus Karambunai Golf Course); take a steam train ride on board the North Borneo Railway for a scenic view; shop at malls like KK Plaza, Centrepoint, Wawasan Plaza; browse through the Filipino market for handicrafts, the Central Market for local produce; enjoy fresh seafood (check with hotels for places to eat); head to the waterfront for live music and bars. Also try the Likas Wetlands (2 kilometers outside KK) for its bird sanctuary.
