I am looking for real jamaican hospitality accomodations
Web
Hi, I am planning to come to Jamaica first Kingston then Mandeville and towards Treasure Beach. I am looking for a real jamaican experience where I can have good private lodging and excellent food served to me when I want. What do you recommend. I planning for a week to see the three cities.

Hi
For a Jamaican experience Id say Liguanea Club in Kingston and the Astra in Mandeville. Treasure beach is not far from Mandeville so you can base yourself in Mandeville. However there is cheaper accomodation than Jakes in Treasure beach if you'd like to stay there just not familiar with them but easily found on the Jamaica Tourist board website.

hi, jamaicatourguide has introduced a option called be-a-local includes staying with a local family at less than any hotel (liguanea or astra included) can offer. i have been doing this for sometime now, it's kinda like couch potato deal but better, because you actually get your own space sometimes detached from main house. also in treasure beach i have accomodation at the new build 2 seasons guesthouse for about US$50 ( less than Jakes). plz contact courtney at www.jamaicatourguide.com- the best way to see jamaica!

Hello. I would recommend Alambra Inn in Kingston and Astra in Mandeville. It would help if you furnished further information regarding your age, so that more specific details can be given to you regarding lodging policies.

Given that all three place are within three hours of each other, you can book lodging at a guest house(Alamount courts) for $60 this include meals. Then you can make arrangements a driver (w/ vechile) for $100 per day, that is cheaper than renting one.
Tell me the type of activities you are interested in, most resorts in jamaica don't have websites, and that is a shame has we have many attractions here you haven't heard of before.
We have a mineral bath (Spa) 1/2 hour from Kingston. Treasure Beach is a beautiful place, with farms producting some of the most delicious foods in all the land, the beach there is also beatiful, there is also 'Lovers' Leap' a attraction that has interest contribution to Jamaican's vast history. There are many more place in these areas I could make mention of, but I would recommend you come and see them for yourself.
I think your budbget is reasonible, you just wont be going back with few sovereigns, but a lot of good memories instead.

This is perfect since the south coast (Mandeville & St. Elizabeth) has what is called community tourism where you get to live with a family in their home. The homes are usually vetted to ensure they meet certain standards. Kingston also has low cost accommodations more like boarding houses where you can stay.
