You can try bus to airport Larnaca from Nicosia and then from airport to Limassol. It will cost you 15 EUR.

Urban taxis provide 24-hour-a-day service in all cities.

Taxis can be hired from the street but better to telephone and book the taxi in advance. Fares are metered after an initial base charge and the metered rate is based on a fixed rate chart. Taxi fares are regulated by law.

Tariff I: daytime tariff, valid from 06:01 to 20:30
Tariff II: night tariff, valid from 20:31 to 06:00 (the per-kilometre charge is higher than Tariff I)
A supplement is payable on certain public holidays
Driver waiting time costs extra
Luggage weighing more than 12Kg costs extra (though it is a nominal charge)

In Nicosia, a taxi rank is available at Eleftheria Square (City Centre), with taxis available at all times.

Rural taxis serve villages and small towns. The pick up and drop-off points can only be from the taxi base station unless taking a taxi from the taxi rank at the airport or seaport.

There are two tariff scales with fees paid on a per-kilometre rate. There are further fees payable for extras:

Tariff I: daytime tariff, valid from 06:01 to 20:30
Tariff II: night tariff, valid from 20:31 to 06:00 (the per-kilometre charge is higher than Tariff I)
Driver waiting time costs extra
Luggage weighing more than 12Kg costs extra (though it is a nominal charge)
Note: Rural taxis do not have taxi meters.

For taxis from Larnaca airport, I always suggest using these websites as a general guideline for expected prices:
http://www.larnacaairporttaxis.com/cyprus-taxis/rates.html
or http://www.acropolis-transport.com/rates.html
