dude the american passport is a magical key for all the closed doors in Cairo and if ur asking about people generally let me tell ya man while im high like that, that u gonna extremely enjoy Egyptian talks, we are all very friendly with foreigners, Egypt got more than 20 million visitor per year so we like talking to people from different cultures, most of us are very funny with a nice sense of humor, we don't hate Americans, we hate the american gov. and we understand clearly the different between the american gov. and the normal americans ! and offcourse we hate George W Bush like hell, we think he is a cow boy with 2 guns and he was happy with his power so he went to kill a 1/2 million iraaqi just to prove that he got some bullets and to make the weapon trade industry grow faster ! most of Egyptians are smart when it comes to politics we understand what's going on here and there, an average Egyptian is watching Opera Winfrey show man and the late show with david letterman so don't worry about that, CNN BBC are on the top fav. list on any TV in Egypt, we got satellites and Egypt is like 2 parts, a part who is very rich and lives a normal life like any civilized European people, they live in resorts, compounds and in a very nice places, the other 50% are under the line of poverty dude :D I am from the middle class, im not too rich but yet not poor, anyway gimme a shout when ur in Egypt, my cell# is : 0109360108 ..you can get a phone and a mobile line when u come for 20$ so get1 and call me, ur invited for free for a cup of coffe or 2 gud Egyptian joints, u who will choose :D and trust me, u'll enjoy it here, ill show u places u've never seen before, real Egypt, i enjoy talking2people from different cultures and i have lots of foreigners friends who are living in cairo so don't worry u wont feel like ur stranger or sumthing lol ...gimme a shout back tc

Hi,
You will find a very warm welcome here in Cairo, and the rest of Egypt too. The people are very friendly and love English speaking tourists in particular as it is their second language.
As an English woman living here for 6 years and married to an Egyptian, I can speak from first hand the reception you will find here.My husband and I have been working with tourists from all over the world, and let me tell you,we much prefer people from the States, Australia, New Zealand, UK and Canada, and we soon make you feel welcome and as home from home as we can.
So please do not hesitate on coming here, I can tell you it is much safer in Cairo than in London, believe it or not, and cheaper too.
If I can be of more assistance you can contact me personally at my email tnctours@hotmail.com, hope to hear from you again soon.

I LOVE THE AMERICANS &WORK WITH THEM BUT We have seen the american president go to Cairo and speak to the Muslim world on tolerance, understanding and human rights, but still, almost a year and a half on, nothing has really changed in how the United States deals with the Middle East an Islamic world,”People have huge expectations for the man,” “They often see him as a savior of all humankind and this puts him in a tough position because it means that if he is successful on anything, it is either not enough or ‘you forgot about us.’ This mentality makes it hard for him to be seen as doing a good job, when in fact, he is and in the Middle East,”
hey will lose credibility and popularity in a region they desperately needs it.”.
