Also in Konjic you can visit old bridge
You can visit in city of Konjic a small producer of high-end furniture, gifts and accessories in solid hardwoods (maple, walnut, cherry, oak, beech). They are in business since 1927 and are well known in south eastern Europe for our original handcarved furniture and interior decoration.

Depends how you will come to Bosnia, and how you will get around. Should you have a car, you can see a lot of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
So if you have car you can drive in one day Sarajevo-Mostar-Trebinje (or Neum, or some other southern location, waterfalls on Trebizat by Ljubuski - excellent swimming hole)-if you lend on Sarajevo airport.
You can drive Mostar-Tomislavgrad-Drvar-Bihac in another day
You can drive Bihac-Jajce-Travnik-Sarajevo in another day.
On all this routes you can make stops and still have a good driving time. In all places any bigger then village you are likely to easily find a hotel/motel and they are not expensive (but in Sarajevo they are double or triple, and for cheaper accommodation you have to check hostels (google))
If you have no car, then as others suggested stick with Sarajevo and Mostar. Konjic is in between easy train or bus ride to both.
And I hope people from Konjic take you to Boracko jezero. if you like hiking(tramping you should ask hosts if there are any mountaneers to take you hiking Prenj or Cvrsnica, or into Rakitnica Canyon.
Enjoy,
Sanela

Hi Andreas,
Beside all these suggestions, you could take a rafting tour on Neretva river which starts 20km from Konjic and finishes in Konjic. It takes few hours and it's great!
Spend at least two days in Sarajevo, visit the old part of city, try traditional bosnian cuisine.
Konjic is somewhere in the middle between Sarajevo and Mostar, so you could also visit Mostar and Old bridge there. It is really very impressive.
We wish you Very Welcome!
