Only a speed boat leaving Siem Reap for Phnom Penh everyday so you have no choices and the boat pier located about 15km south of Siem Reap town but the boat company will offer free pick up from your hotel when you bought boat ticket from them . Of course the travel would be comfortable but not nicer as rainy season when the lake is full and if i knew no food served on the board so you should buy some breads and water to reserve before you leave . Yupz, there is only 1 ferry available. It costs a bit more expensive than a bus but really worth taking. I took the ferry from Phnom Phen to Siam Reap myself. The view was awesome especially when you sit on the roof top! You will pass by the Tonse Lap floating village if you take the ferry :D

They won't serve you any food so you have to bring your own.
