Western Union is good and available all over the country. Bank transfers are of course fine, however I have experienced that they can take up to 3 weeks to come through and both sender and receiver have to pay a fee. However normally it takes about a week via bank,

Hi,
Yes you can do the money transfer via Western Union or via Money Grum, but it is better and secure that you do money transfer from your bank to the bank account in Morocco.

Western Union seems to be the fastest. The wire transfer rates are 37 MAD(about $5) from 1 to 1000 MAD, 47 MAD(about $6) from 1001 to 3000 MAD; and from 1000 MAD and on it is 0.67%. Account to account transfers now take only a maximum 72 Hrs provided that you have the right routing and swift numbers. Cash is exchanged at face value according to the daily official exchange rate, whereas you're charged 10 MAD($1.20)per every exchanged Trav.Cheq. If you have an internationally valid debit or credit card it is the most advantageous way to cash local money all the over the country-even in remote places.

STOP sending your money through western union and moneygram you are getting ripped off and making jew zionists filthy rich. the 10 or 20 dollar fee they are charging you is just a scma to make believe u are getting a good deal. they get you in the exchange rate. let's say u do a bank wire transfer and the current rate is 8.60 mad for 1 dollar the bank will give you the actual rate western union or moneygram will scam you and will only give you 8.50 if that. use banks to send your money people it costs much less than u think especially if your sending large amounts. washington mutual used to be the cheapest and best but now they merged with chase . now im trying to figure out which us bank has best ties with Moroccan banks to get best rates and least fees. notice all transfers to Morocco have to go through New York banks like bank of New York or HSBC so they too charge you extra fees on top of what ur local bank charges you. if anyone has additional info let me know.

Salam

I always suggest my clients send their money via a bank transfer, It takes a at least 3 working days for the funds to hit the Moroccan acoount; however less costly. Both Western Union and MoneyGram are fast but could be a fortune loss whenn the amount exeeds a few thousands.
